Who was Cassandra?

  • In the Iliad, she is described as the loveliest of the daughters of Priam (King of Troy), and gifted with prophecy. The god Apollo loved her, but she spurned him. As a punishment, he decreed that no one would ever believe her. So when she told her fellow Trojans that the Greeks were hiding inside the wooden horse...well, you know what happened.

That's so lovely. Early morning is such a special time, and we so often miss it!

It is not surprising that white mists, clouds and veils are symbols for the mysterious unknowns and hiddens.Tom

This is lovely, Beth. Thanks for sharing your morning.

Gorgeous, ephemeral moments! What a lovely place, that childhood home of yours.

I like this all very much except for the mosquito to the lower right of the alien spaceships!

Beth, what a lovely collection of photos and appreciative comments on each. Sacred ordinary extraordinary moments you share for transformation for folks like me. Thanks so much.

Oh, Beth, glorious.
