Who was Cassandra?

  • In the Iliad, she is described as the loveliest of the daughters of Priam (King of Troy), and gifted with prophecy. The god Apollo loved her, but she spurned him. As a punishment, he decreed that no one would ever believe her. So when she told her fellow Trojans that the Greeks were hiding inside the wooden horse...well, you know what happened.

Lovely bookplates! I hope the press is having a good April sale...

And yes, I wish all the friends of Phoenicia would be so forthright. Great quote from Dave. If all the people who like your work would think to recommend books, review books on Amazon and such places, and use word of mouth, how much easier your getting the word out would be. Much luck to you with the sale and beyond. Your books are so carefully chosen and so beautifully designed.
