Gulnaz had listed you as one of her blog friends..In tribute of Gulnaz we hope you can drop a line to tell us how were you inspired by Gulnaz

I actually watched part of that Larry King on CNN yesterday evening; it was fascinating, though as usual I willingly left the TV before the show was over, sadly and perhaps mistakenly convinced that no one watching would come away having changed his or her opinion. But it's good to talk, in a way...if only to know what we're up against.

Who was Cassandra?

  • In the Iliad, she is described as the loveliest of the daughters of Priam (King of Troy), and gifted with prophecy. The god Apollo loved her, but she spurned him. As a punishment, he decreed that no one would ever believe her. So when she told her fellow Trojans that the Greeks were hiding inside the wooden horse...well, you know what happened.
