Yay, so glad spring has arrived out your way! Snowdrops are the first sign out here on the westcoast (usually in January but it was February this year). Should help keep your spirits up during this challenging time.
We still have more than a couple of feet on the ground, though there are bare spots in town. This week is promised to be warm and sunny after today so we'll hope. Everyone is worn out from it, though the skiing was wonderful all winter.
In the Iliad, she is described as the loveliest of the daughters of Priam (King of Troy), and gifted with prophecy. The god Apollo loved her, but she spurned him. As a punishment, he decreed that no one would ever believe her. So when she told her fellow Trojans that the Greeks were hiding inside the wooden horse...well, you know what happened.
Beautiful. My daffodils and tulips are up. I love spring.

Hooray!
Maybe soon here on the mountain - downhill the ground is bare, but the snow's still a foot or more deep up here. Soon.

Aw, man. We're just getting some bare ground yesterday and today. Flowers can't be too far behind.
