Makes me want to drive through this countryside...

Oh, that's beautiful.

gorgeous! the leaves are spectacular right now here in upstate NY. :) lots and lots of orange.

i love how this piece moves. i can feel myself riding up and over even the small knoll in that field near the road.

Vermont is beautiful in a different way than NH. It's more farming, while we're forest.
Lovely drawing.

how beautiful. i especially like the second detail with the bend in the river - lovely blues. reminds me a little of where i am here in the Pennines...

Vibrant and emotional painting - has a feeling of speed and energy. I like the sudden blue lake, and the subtle colours of the hills.

is it a lake, not a river?

A wide spot in a river. Exaggerated by me!

Strange and mysterious.

Not too different from the area I live on the Vermont border in Massachusetts. Very beautiful paintings. You have a lot to offer all of us.

Who was Cassandra?

  • In the Iliad, she is described as the loveliest of the daughters of Priam (King of Troy), and gifted with prophecy. The god Apollo loved her, but she spurned him. As a punishment, he decreed that no one would ever believe her. So when she told her fellow Trojans that the Greeks were hiding inside the wooden horse...well, you know what happened.
