Who was Cassandra?

  • In the Iliad, she is described as the loveliest of the daughters of Priam (King of Troy), and gifted with prophecy. The god Apollo loved her, but she spurned him. As a punishment, he decreed that no one would ever believe her. So when she told her fellow Trojans that the Greeks were hiding inside the wooden horse...well, you know what happened.

Glorious, Beth. Such movement you can almost hear what you see here!

I love the contrast of traces and the movement. It is a catchy one!

Are you sure the paper won't blow away? You've achieved sooo much movement! I'm impressed :)

Beautiful, the movement and calligraphy. I always feel in communion with the artist when I can see the lines they make.

Wow Beth! I am blown over! What movement you have captured here!

Wonderful sketches. I'm going to look for my ink, pen and brush and try some.
