Kia ora Beth...the pizzas look great, and so do you guys. We are having Pohangina Pete around for tea this Saturday evening and making home made pizza as we have recently taken to making our own dough...any tips are greatly appreciated! :)

I love this picture. You both look so cute--and the pizza looks divine!

Never mind de Pizzas and the happy faces. Yes all looks very inviting. The thoughts I had were "I wonder who the lucky guests were. Would have loved to be there because of interesting topics discussed which I am sure they were. (Don't like the way I phrased this but am sure that you know what I mean, Beth).

Great picture of both of you (and the pizzas) - love Jonathan's black beard and moustache, very exotic.

How charming in every way!

Who was Cassandra?

  • In the Iliad, she is described as the loveliest of the daughters of Priam (King of Troy), and gifted with prophecy. The god Apollo loved her, but she spurned him. As a punishment, he decreed that no one would ever believe her. So when she told her fellow Trojans that the Greeks were hiding inside the wooden horse...well, you know what happened.
