Who was Cassandra?

  • In the Iliad, she is described as the loveliest of the daughters of Priam (King of Troy), and gifted with prophecy. The god Apollo loved her, but she spurned him. As a punishment, he decreed that no one would ever believe her. So when she told her fellow Trojans that the Greeks were hiding inside the wooden horse...well, you know what happened.

Oh, cute. I see you really had fun. Now you can welcome in the spring!

It is good to hear your voice again in the blogosphere! And I love these photographs -- especially your smile on the faux airplane and the beautiful one of Jonathan.

Hah, hah--I'm glad you flew away and are back again.

I love the photos too, you in the toy plane and Jonathan with the toy horse - terrific!

A delicious bite of the colour and richness. I appreciate silly and you do it so cheekily.
