That is weirdly wonderful.

Your musical programme sounds varied and interesting.

I think it's good to get busy in November, as a kind of immune booster to the winter blues, and often find being more active makes me more willing to take on other challenges, and - hopefully - more inclined to post about things. Though I may feel otherwise by late November when I'm totally out of ideas! Good luck anyway, and that is a rather wonderful photo.

The phrase "time sharing" seems to have lost favour these days; a pity since it best describes your working days/weeks/months/etc. At least you aren't having to hang around for your reward; I wouldn't be keen to make the necessary phsyical adjustments but I envy you (being) "a soprano in an angelic chorus".

Who was Cassandra?

  • In the Iliad, she is described as the loveliest of the daughters of Priam (King of Troy), and gifted with prophecy. The god Apollo loved her, but she spurned him. As a punishment, he decreed that no one would ever believe her. So when she told her fellow Trojans that the Greeks were hiding inside the wooden horse...well, you know what happened.
