Hope she gets many nominations...

Done, and I hope Mary receives her nomination!

Dear Beth, thanks so much for your boost here. It has worked well! According to stats on the Kindle Scout page, some twenty-one or so of your readers have been good enough to nominate my book. Which is wonderful. There are only ten days left in the campaign and I'll be glad when it's over. Then, rather soon, I will be notified as to Kindle Scout's decision to publish my book or not. And I will let you and your readers know what happens. If it's a go, I'll have to do something about the cover which is not so good. Your blog today shows the greyness of April there. As I write, the sun here in Colorado is coming up like thunder out of China 'crost the bay...

Who was Cassandra?

  • In the Iliad, she is described as the loveliest of the daughters of Priam (King of Troy), and gifted with prophecy. The god Apollo loved her, but she spurned him. As a punishment, he decreed that no one would ever believe her. So when she told her fellow Trojans that the Greeks were hiding inside the wooden horse...well, you know what happened.
