Lovely. I suspect you also enjoyed choosing some of these things at an art-supply shop. Impending travel is always the best excuse to pay a visit.
I find it takes me some time to get used to the “shapes” of new places so I am not entirely successful in sketching on scene. But the point is to draw of course, and the country you are going to is so very beautiful.

Excellent-looking kit, chosen with care. Bon voyage to a land of olive trees...

Who was Cassandra?

  • In the Iliad, she is described as the loveliest of the daughters of Priam (King of Troy), and gifted with prophecy. The god Apollo loved her, but she spurned him. As a punishment, he decreed that no one would ever believe her. So when she told her fellow Trojans that the Greeks were hiding inside the wooden horse...well, you know what happened.
